Our Mission:    
   

The mission of the Golden Eagle Martial Arts Federation is to provide cultural exchange, networking, interaction and cultural understanding for the martial arts community.  We focus on providing associations, schools, clubs, individual members and their families with information about events, seminars, and tournaments.  We also provide programs for families, focusing on martial arts education, education for the school owner, the martial arts instructor and a place to share and learn about all Asian cultural arts.  We also provide recreation and health workshops and seminars.
 

The challenge facing martial artists today, as well as many cultural traditions developed in regional isolation, is to preserve the cultural integrity and traditional knowledge base while at the same time adapting the practice of martial arts to the realities of a rapidly globalizing world.  The present generation is confronting a unique situation in that we must perpetuate the practice of martial arts in very different cultural environments than the environment from which Asian martial arts originated.  The Golden Eagle Martial Arts Federation hopes to contribute to the long and proud tradition of martial arts, propelling the practice of martial arts well into the future.
