Sultzman started studying traditional Okinawan Karate and Chinese Kung Fu on the East Coast in 1976. He has been teaching since 1979. For the last decade, he has been training under Master Cardona and currently organizes and teaches the children's program. Through Master Cardona, he has had the honor of training with Grandmaster Lily Lau. Sultzman has competed and judged in countless tournaments over the years and traveled with Master Cardona to China, Hong Kong and Macao representing the Chicago Headquarters. His travels have also taken him to Europe and Japan. In addition to teaching martial arts, Sultzman is a certified secondary education teacher.
